I just got a text from a buddy that lives down there inviting a bunch of us down for a weekend full of board games. He was the one that recommended Vonnegut in the first place.

Or maybe, it was all to get me to write the short story I began last night that starts and ends with Vonnegut's novels...

I kind of feel like I'm in Field of Dreams:)deekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18140131381076720375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3525256592893354856.post-24435200192199702272011-01-24T00:58:21.373-05:002011-01-24T00:58:21.373-05:00I read that a couple of years ago. Then I found Breakfast Of Champions - and it had a profound effect on the way I write. I still can't figure out why exactly it did but I know that as soon as I read the last page I began looking at my style differently.

I just bought it on my nook - I have to reread it!! Thanks for the inspiration!

More symbol??? I thought of it the other day typecasting on my Erika, made in Dresden in 1940. I should have mentioned it then.notagainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02915679111849352765noreply@blogger.com
