Congrats on the baby to be! I agree with you, the time between just one parent and one kid is important. These are some of my favorite memories with my oldest daughter.
I have burned through many cartridges of my Lamy Safari, two boxes worth. I LOVE that pen. It's the pen I have looked for all my life! Too intimidated to use the inkwell and converter thingy, do consider posting a video of how to do this, or something, for chickens like me.

I've been a Pelikan user for the last few years, and just graduated to my second bottle of Parker Quink blue/black. But between writing with AlphaSmart Neo, typewriter and now woodcase pencils, the Pelikan doesn't get the use it once did. Perhaps I just need to write more.
