I keep my Space Pen clipped to the inside of my front pants pocket. Very handy, but it has a tendency to pop out if I hit it just right. I usually find them a few weeks later (car, couch, laundry).
Out of the four pens I've purchased over the last ten years, I've only truly lost one of them. I rotate through the other three on a regular basis. Like you, I almost never lose things, but these pens seem to be the exception to the rule.
You got the window right, Richard! This is just a regular sheet of white copy paper propped up on a window. The darker bands are the muntins showing through. If you look closely, you'll also see a small grid with is the screen.
While not done on purpose, I think the text being slightly out of focus lends to the paper towel look.
Flynn, this space pen was found in a recliner and I almost dropped it in the washing machine...
What a great story about the letter in a bottle.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like you typed it on a paper towel and held it up to the kitchen window!
