  1. You've been using the H3000 that you got from Adwoa in Switzerland! :D

I am occasionally afflicted with the Y/Z confusion myself when switching betwixt the two keyboard layouts. I miss my Swissa, but it'll be great when she comes back to me outfitted with fresh rubber. (:

Hmmn, a box in customs? Have you got another foreign-keyboard machine on the way?

  2. Yup, the Hermes 3000 has been doing my nano work. Over 10,000 words by the end of tonight's writing session. So, I have crossed over to a French-Swiss keyboard, but my US layout is now getting mixed up:)

I've been peeking in the "bag" but haven't let the cat our yet. I'm optimistic by the end of this week, I'll have an announcement, although I am sure someone could figure it out going back through the last week or so worth of blog posts, comments and G+ posts...

  3. Glad the Hermes 3000 is getting such a rigorous workout! 10K words, that is incredible.

Let's see how long it takes customs to do their work... you're right; by the end of the week there should definitely be some news :)

In terms of the Lettera - even though it's light and portable, it's harder to use it as a lap machine because of the open bottom... as opposed to something else... but that's all I'm saying!

  4. And on a non-typers topic: I see you've taken the definition of "baby blanket" quite literally! ;-)

You should convince her to get you that Swissa she passed up the other day :D

  6. You're really cookin' along on this year's NaNo! A wonderful accomplishment in any case, but with the additional responsibilities of family and work -- even MORE remarkable.

    Keep up the good work!

  7. I love the kudos, but remember, I am off work on paternity leave for three weeks since Colin's birth. Granted, 90% of my writing has come after 8pm (kids in bed and down for the night) so the work thing really doesn't have an impact either way.

One could say, with the amount of time I have when the kids are entertained or napping, I should have a higher word count:)
