Nick, I wasn't aware elite type was uncommon on Consuls. Very cool to know!
Yeah, there is certainly work involved, especially with the ages of 6, 5, 2 and 3 mos., but I enjoy the challenges as well as all the memories and growing I get to experience with them.
heh, the thought of small humans running around descended from me fills me with horror. How do you keep them away from the bubbling chemicals and experimental weaponry? Cats are about all the small beasts I allow in the house, and they're trouble enough.
Yep, whoever it was that coined the phrase "not enough hours in a day" really knew what they were talking about. Hope your New Year went well and all the best for the rest of 2014, Deek!
I'm with Ted on the children department. And the cats department too if it matters something. I consider kids to be little devils, you know, like in The Omen. ;-)
But happy new year to you and your family! Luckily you are blessed to have your days filled with happiness and joy. And congratz on the Consol ofcourse!
Happy New Year, father of four!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it has elite type! Not often found on Consuls. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the fine new typewriter.
ReplyDeleteChildren are such fun. When mine were young there were times I thought it work. Now they are all out on their own and I have plenty of happy memories.
My best to you and your family.
and A Very Happy New Year!

Cute li'l Consul. Have a great new year—and thanks for your letter!
ReplyDeleteTed, I occasionally question my sanity.
ReplyDeleteRichard, I am looking forward to your book project in 2014. Good luck!
