  1. My travel typewriter is a Royal Mercury; its case is small but completely encloses it. Earlier this summer we went on vacation to Oceanside, Ca, where I sat on the beach with my Merc and typed away. Got noticed by a few people, but that's okay.

  2. With a name like Clipper, it *belongs* by the water, I reckon. Sounds like a lovely plan.

Says she who is still wayyyy too self-conscious to type outside, even on her own front steps....

  3. That's a very good observation, LFP...it does belong by the water with that name!

  4. My travel typewriter is my Smith Corona Skyriter. I usually put the paper in the case as well so all I need to do is grab and go. It's a good feeling having a very portable typewrite. Some day I would love to have a olivetti 32. *Sigh* Someday
