Procrastinating my writing by way of typecasting...
Typing on a train! It sounds fantastic. Enjoy the scenery.
Typing on the train does sound fun. What typewriter was used for this post? Nice typeface.
This was my Correcting Selectric II with the Artisan 12 golfball.
that's why it looked familiar. my mother had that combo and used Artisan 12 a lot when she had a steno service in the 70s
Enjoy the trip and be safe! Looking forward to those train-inspired posts!
Just boarded the train about 30 minutes ago. I'm in my sleeper room, which is quite small, but I expected that.I'll be going to sleep shortly, but I'll wish for some train inspiration:)
Hmmm...so, apparently a bridge is still out between Harrisburg and Lancaster, so we had to get off the train in Harrisburg and bus to Lancaster. Not too bad, but I should have been getting into Philly in three minutes and as of yet, our train has not started moving.A little worse, they don't have a business class car, so I'm in coach. Not nearly the same leg room, but this should be a fairly quick trip. And, the cherry, I've sat in the midst of a group of talkative complainers with a New York attitude...could be interesting!
If I had to choose one IBM Selectric font to purchase, it would be this one! Glad to know what it's called at last. I'm fond of sans-serif typefaces and this is a particularly lovely example.
