It certainly could be, Richard. I was just going off of what Adwoa mentioned on her site (as she was the one who sent it to me). I did notice she said it had a Swiss-French QWERTZ keyboard and I only said French.
Congrats on the new addition to the family! I've longed for one of those beauties for a very long time and I'm glad to see someone who loves it as much as I am going to when I finally get one!!
I tried to post a comment using my mobile phone (was out of town without wifi), but it didn't work so now I get to finally chime in! Great to see that you finally unwrapped the H3000 and it's working well for you. I can tell how much you like it since it's being featured in so many typecasts :) The keyboard is indeed Swiss-French, which has subtle differences from Swiss-German and German. It'll take some getting used to the y and z, but I have the same problem myself switching between different layouts on computers and typewriters. Happz New Zear! ;-)
That's awesome! I love the action on mine as well.
ReplyDeleteGo the H3K!
ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty! If you use it enough you'll start remembering to swap the y and z.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Sorry to be pedantic, but I believe that's the German layout.

ReplyDeleteEither way, it seems to type in English well:)

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas again, friend!
H3k 4-evah!
ReplyDeleteCongrats - a fine, beautiful machine. Every typophile should have one! (:
