    I noticed you hit Z instead of Y a lot of times in this post! Hee! Is that a quirk of this particular machine or just a coincidence?

    Cheryl, yeah, this is my Christmas gift from Adwoa in Geneva and its a French-Swiss QWERTZ layout. It usually takes me a page or two (450-900 words) before I accurately adjust to the swapped z and y keys.

    Since this was a shorter typecast and I hadn't been on the the Hermes for a few days, my brain hadn't adjusted yet.

    I had my streak come to an end last night....the evening was over before I realized I hadn't written anything. Ah well, congrats on keeping the streak alive! I'm off to start a new one!

    Bob, I didn't start out the month with a goal of posting everyday, but after I a few days, I noticed it, so now I've got a motivating force to keep it up. The tough part is finding a semi-related topic (to typewriters or writing) when I hit a slow patch.

    Now, I do think I've got some filler ideas (like doing some more videos), so that may get me through slow days during the month.

    Same here. I actually include the calendar on my blog so I see the string of days I have going. You're right - it helps a lot! And as for topics, yeah, same boat!
