Does this machine in question perhaps have keys with umlauts, too?

ReplyDeleteThat's a funnz coincidence. Oddlz enough, I haven't zet read anzthing by McMurtrz; I onlz know about his tzpewriter interest because of studzing about tzpewriters.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I was off with the reference to him. I was referring to an interview I once read where he said he made himself write 10 pages of new material first thing in the morning, and 20 pages if he was working out a revision. Is the Morning Pages that you were referring to the three pages of anything/stream-of-consciousness thing? I guess the connection between McMurtry and what I though you were talking about is the idea of getting a specific writing goal accomplished first thing before the day starts.
