I'm such a bad influence!! The irony of the situation is that my wife isn't letting me at the checkbook - even for a measly $22.50 - until Friday. This may call for subterfuge - or at least a call to my mother-in-law!
I'm tempted to snort that anyone who can afford a Mac wouldn't notice another $45, but it could be that buying a Mac doesn't leave anything for software. I'm trying the windows beta on my 3 year old $300 netbook. Have only "played" with it so far.
Ted, yeah, its sounds like a great tool. My main draw is the end stuff, as I am re-typing my novel from paper to Dana and then getting it on computer. So, if Scrivener becomes the end home for all my publishing activities, I don't think I'll go wrong using it.
Yeah, at $22.50, its really hard to pass up something that has just high regard.
I'd agree with that, notagain, although I'm looking at a 10 year old G3 Powermac Desktop that is the likely destination for the software download.
if it helps, the eeepc-ers I hung out with during Nano rave about Scrivener.

I've got a month and a half to decide...
