  3. Wow, Deek! Clearly you are having WAY too much fun with the new typeface elements. This is great!

  5. Well, of course, you can steal the badge. But let me tell you a little about it first. The typewriter art is done by Nicole Ray. Ryan Adney @ Magic Margin discovered her first. She did some artwork for his blog. I asked her to draw my favorite typewriter in order for me to make a rubber stamp. She did a wonderful job!!! And I highly recommend her.

    Now, the text around the badge isn't actually from my Selectric (although that would have been cool, although the "It's here" is my new Print & Publisher type element). I actually used Richard Polt's Olympia Script TTF and wrapped it around the drawing using Photoshop CS2 (yeah, old, but that is what I have).

    So there you have it, artwork with a little of my own graphic design brought to you by way of a rubber stamp (which will be a common occurrence on my ITAM letters).

    If you want the hi-res badge graphic, I do have it as a jpg, so just e-mail me at djkoepke (at) gmail (dot) com and I am happy to share!

  6. So I replaced mine, which is a bit too graphic, with yours. Thanks!

  7. @maschinengeschrieben
    No problem! Keep spreading the word!

    @Crystal
    Its really up to you. Write (more) letters, brave some public typing, set up a type-in, give a typer away...there are a myriad of ways to appreciate typewriters and share what you love with others!
