    them!

    I like that bookstores are among the few businesses that embrace typewriters as decor; it might just save some nice machines from oblivion. There's a bookstore in my area called The Flying Oliver, and you can better believe that they have an Oliver on proud display.

    Anyone else have similar instances?

  2. Should you ever happen to visit Island Books on Mercer Island in Seattle, http://www.mercerislandbooks.com/ they have a HUGE typewriter collection.

  3. Hell yea! You know how many times I have heard those words "only you would notice something like that!" To many times! I have also a used book store that has a few typewriters on display, manuals, their up on the tall book shelf's near the front of the store. They also sell vinyls and some are framed on the walls! It looks great in there!

  4. Oh this just came to mind as well, my wife and her mother the other day were watching that movie Julia&Julia or something, and I guess there was a typewriter in the movie. Her mom said to her jokingly, "better go get James". Of course I was playing Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 and couldn't be bothered lol. That game and Avatar in 3D has made 2010 awesome already!
