Richard, I think it helped that the scan was at a slight angle, eh?
I'm thinking that I should cut the paper in half next time I use it, so there is not such a thick roll going through the typewriter. I've not had much luck with folding paper, but have no issue with two sheets. Go figure!
Yeah, I have kept them all. After I finish scanning them in and uploading them to a storage server, I put the hardcopy in my desk drawer. Now, none of them have dates, but they are all just in a stack, so the lower in, the older:)

This is a completely off-topic and non-important question: Do you keep all of your typecasts?
