Procrastinating my writing by way of typecasting...
Great! This will be a good resource for anyone wanting to understand or learn about the SM9.
nice job. i have two just like that - one in script and the other in techno. both are from 1971 i believe. great machines.
Thanks for that!! Much better than static pics. Great job, and lucky for you I'm really bad at math!@notagain - I'm a sucker for that script font and if it types as well as my SM9 you've got a great little machine there.
I just realized, my math is okay in the video. When I got back to my desk, the number 52 stuck in my head and I was thinking my left margin set was still at 12, but I did move it to 16 in the video. Oh well...I think I'm going to do a follow-up video with this one. Going into it, I kind of thought that I would take a tour of all the features, and levers and the like, but I really didn't go into stuff like the tab sets, ribbon selector and carriage release.I had thought about working out a quick bullet list of items to cover during the video, but I just did this on the fly again.
You're awesome. More of these, please!
Thank you.And I really do want to do more of these, so be on the lookout! I know that there is nothing earth-shattering going on in the videos, but I know that I enjoy watching other people type and talk about their typers, and its fun to set up a camera and just ramble on for a bit:)
