For what I do, typecasts, letter writing and first draft writing, I really could reduce my fleet down to one. But, I'd lose the ability to switch up the look of my typecasts as well as content (as typing in different locations does reflect in each writing session) and then I'd lose out on typing away from the house (as "the one" would not be a portable).
I would probably be just fine with having only three: a standard, a traveler and an electric. But what is the fun in that?

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about my favorites lately too. I am not sure I have yet settled on the perfect typewriter but the old SM9 comes close.
