  1. In my last house I too set up a typewriter desk with my SM-9. Of course, I didn't have anything so nice as a window...

  2. Yeah, I guess I should be happy with the window. I had to crack it a bit last night due to it getting rather warm and a typed away...

  3. Wow, you can fit an SG-1 in a closet? Nice.

Man, I've been really trying to answer the stack of letters before the month runs out but I can't promise anything. I suppose if it spills over to March then that's okay because I like it to be typewriter appreciation and letter-writing month all year long.

  4. SG1 AND the typewriter table it came with AND a desk chair... When we remodeled our master bath, we moved the walk-in closet to this new, bigger space in the room. So, instead of it being long and skinny, it is now the shape of a 1/4th of an octagon. So, in the middle, there is more open space. Luckily, for storage, I can slide it back against the wall under one of my clothes rods. It works out pretty nice for everyone involved. Now I just need to do my laundry more often, so I'm not surrounded by dirty clothes!

I feel ya with the letters. I got another one done last night and I think I got three more to go on my stack (before the weekend, my stack was closing in on double-digits). I think I've written 14 letters this month!

ITAM is a good thing and letter-writing is like the jelly-of-the-month club, a gift that keeps on giving!

  5. Wait, the typing table is actually a Cole-Steel brand? I didn't know there was such a thing. At first I was a bit confused, thinking you'd flattened your Cole Steel typer by plunking an SG1 on top of it...

  6. Well, an SG1 would flatten one, wouldn't it?

Yeah, just luck of the draw, I suppose. When I bought the SG1, the table was part of the deal. What a deal, right?
